Founder of Qubeq · Entrepreneur & Systems Builder

I like figuring out how things work — then finding a better way to run them.

I’m naturally curious about how businesses and systems work. That curiosity took me from e-commerce operations to building Qubeq, leading teams, and experimenting with new tools and ideas.

Based in Bangladesh · Working globally

Today, I lead Qubeq, where I focus on better systems, stronger teams, and the marketplace problems that need more than a standard playbook.

My full name is S M Mokaram Hossain; professionally, I use Mokaram Hossain. My path into e-commerce was gradual. I started around local e-commerce in Bangladesh, explored global e-commerce more seriously from 2017, and in July 2018 joined Doodle Hog LLC as a VA. Over time I moved into operations leadership, inventory, and logistics.

During the COVID demand surge, the business grew fast and the operating pressure grew with it. I was coordinating suppliers, forwarders, inventory and shipments across US and China time zones, often working 12–16 hour days. It taught me a lesson that still shapes how I work:

Build systems, not dependency.

In 2022, I started Moiz IT with a small team. As we grew, I learned that adding people was only part of the answer. Clear ownership, SOPs, review layers, documentation, dashboards, automation, training and a team that can think for itself created far more leverage. That business is now becoming Qubeq.

Today, routine work is handled by the right specialist. I review plans and systems, help the team improve, and step in when an issue is unusual, high-risk, or simply refuses to respond to the normal fix.

My academic background is in Mechanical Engineering. My career took a different direction — into e-commerce, operations, entrepreneurship and building systems.

When the Usual Fix Doesn’t Work

I tend to get pulled in when a marketplace problem is unusual, costly, or has already survived the obvious fixes. These are a few past examples — not turnaround promises.

01

Amazon · Backend issue

A primary listing had been down for days.

A client came back after its main listing had remained offline for roughly 4–6 days and sales were being lost each day. I traced the problem to a backend issue and helped get the listing restored the same day.

02

Amazon · Listing suppression

About 90 listings had been suppressed for more than 10 days.

A former client returned after the issue had remained unresolved. I investigated the underlying problem, worked through the required fixes, and the affected listings were restored the same day.

03

Catalog · Variations

A variation problem that multiple freelancers couldn’t close.

The seller had already tried several freelancers. I worked through the catalog relationship and resolved the tricky variation problem across two marketplaces.

Agency Operating Platform

I’m shaping an internal platform for Qubeq around a problem we live with every day: agency work is fragmented across chat, calls, task managers, files, reports, reviews and client communication.

I came up with the concept and define the product direction around how our team actually operates. Development is handled inside the Qubeq team. The goal is to bring clients and agency operations into one connected system — and build it for ourselves first.

Where it goes after that, we’ll see.

A few words from people I’ve worked with

The work should speak louder than the profile.

Do you work personally with clients?

It depends on the engagement. For consulting, advisory or strategic work, you may work directly with me while my team supports research, data gathering, reporting or execution. For broader operational work, Qubeq specialists handle the relevant tasks while I review, guide and step in when senior judgment is needed.

Do you only work with Amazon?

No. Amazon is where I have the deepest experience, but I’ve also managed marketplace work across Walmart, eBay, Chewy, Wayfair, Faire, TikTok Shop and Shopify.

Do you work with new brands or only established businesses?

Both. I’ve helped brands start their marketplace journey from zero and have also worked with established businesses that need ongoing operations, catalog management, issue resolution or a stronger operating structure.

Can I contact you about a difficult marketplace problem?

Yes. Unusual listing-policy issues, account health, catalog problems, FBA and reimbursement cases, and situations where the standard fix is not working are the kinds of problems I naturally get interested in.

Can I ask a quick e-commerce question?

Absolutely. I may not always be able to reply quickly, but if you’re stuck on an Amazon or marketplace question and I can point you in the right direction, I’m happy to help.
